About Oolong Tea
Looking to buy Oolong tea? Oolong tea with its many shades of green and brown is only produced in the Taiwanese highlands and made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The difference between Black tea and Oolong tea is how the tea leaves are processed. Oolong tea falls between black and green tea, by stopping the fermentation process in the right moment oolong tea is partially oxidised. This leaves only the edges fermented, whereas the leaf center remains green. The tea has a slight black tea character with a pleasant sweetness and and strong colour. We have Oolong teas that have fruit & herbs added which complement the subtle flavour of the tea and give a unique taste to the tea that needs to be tried! Our ever popular selection of luxury Oolong loose leaf teas are handled and packed with care to ensure you get the best tea in the best condition. 2021 is The Wiltshire Tea Company's 20th AnniversaryClick to read our Zero Waste Mission Statement FAST Dispatch.
